I created this space to empower you to live a healthier and happier life through the power of plants. I also embrace simple minimalist lifestyle habits so I can show you how easy to incorporate them. You will feel more vibrant and energized when you start cultivating this sustainable lifestyle.
How Did Avocado Centric Start?
So, I started my health and wellness journey after meeting my husband who has a severe dairy allergy. I wanted to learn how to cook delicious and healthy dairy-free meals so we both could enjoy together.
At first, this mission was challenging because there weren’t many dairy-free cooking resources back then. After many years, I finally learned about the power of plants and started to incorporate them into our daily lives.
After learning how to eat dairy-free, I also wanted to focus on eating more whole foods. Because I wanted to nourish my body with a variety of fruits and vegetables. In the past, I struggled with maintaining a healthy lifestyle so I didn’t want a quick fix that wasn’t sustainable.
Certainly, the more I started cooking and eating plant-based foods, the more I started feeling and looking better. Also, my brain fog slowly dissipated and I didn’t feel tired all the time.
And The Journey Continues
Once I noticed the changes this way of eating provided me over the years, I shifted my focus to improve other aspects of my lifestyle. So I started removing all the toxic household, skincare and makeup products from my environment and found sustainable and clean alternatives.
In addition, I started reducing my clutter and only own things that serve me a purpose and bring me happiness. I also believe in balance so I didn’t want to get rid of everything I own and live in an empty house. So I love incorporating simple minimalist habits into my life to keep me from accumulating too much stuff.
It took me a while to get where I am now. When I noticed I have a lot to share with others and help them achieve a healthier and happier life, I wanted to create this space.
Thanks to my photographer husband combined with my love for cooking, we were able to create a place where we can share our passion and also experience.
