This homemade vegan tartar sauce recipe is so easy to make and perfect for vegan fish sticks or crab cakes! It's gluten-free, creamy, and quick to make.

  • 3/4 cup homemade vegan mayo ( sub for store-bought)
  • 4 tbs chopped dill pickle
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 1/2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp capers (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp brown mustard (sub for dijon)

  1. Add all the ingredients in a medium bowl and mix well.
  2. Serve immediately or place it in the fridge to get cooler.

After mixing, place it in the fridge for an hour so it will be cold and get thicker.

Chop the ingredients small or keep it bigger for a chunky texture.

Always adjust to taste and add salt if needed!
